“QUÉBON TRIPPE TON HIVER” CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

The contest “TRIPPE TON HIVER – VOUS POURRIEZ GAGNER UNE TRIPPE SUR NEIGE QUÉBON” (the “Contest”) is organized by Agropur Cooperative (the “Organizer”). The Contest takes place in participating IGA supermarkets and Metro supermarkets (the “Retailer”) in the province of Quebec from January 15, 2026, at store opening, to February 12, 2026, at store closing (the “Contest Period”). The participating IGA and Metro stores and Agropur Cooperative are collectively referred to as the “Sponsors.”

 

ELIGIBILITY  

To be eligible for the Contest, the participant must:

  • Be a resident of the province of Quebec;
  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of entering the Contest;
  • Not be an employee of the participating IGA or Metro store (the “Retailer”) or of Agropur Cooperative (the Retailer and Agropur Cooperative collectively referred to as the “Sponsors”), their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, associated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, or a member of the jury, if applicable, as well as persons with whom they reside.
  • By participating in the Contest, the participant releases the Sponsors from any liability for injuries, losses, damages, costs, and/or expenses of any kind incurred by the participant arising from participation in the Contest, acceptance, possession, and use of the prize.

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE 

No purchase necessary.

The Contest will take place at the Retailer. To participate, follow these steps:

  • The participant must purchase, at the Retailer, a Québon chocolate partly skimmed milk or a Québon sugar reduced chocolate partially skimmed milk. Then, locate the contest poster displaying a QR code, scan it using a smartphone to access the contest link, and complete the entry form (the “Entry Form”) by providing the following information:
  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Store banner
  • City
  • The UPC code found on the back of the Québon chocolate partly skimmed milk or a sugar reduced chocolate partially skimmed milk.
  • Check the box to accept the privacy policy, optionally check the opt-in box to subscribe to the newsletter, and complete the CAPTCHA security check. Submit the form by clicking the “SUBMIT” button.

  • All Entry Forms must be received during the Contest Period.
  • The Retailer’s computer serves as the official clock for this Contest.
  • All Entry Forms become the exclusive property of the Sponsors.
  • There is a limit of one entry per person per 24 hours.
  • Any fraudulent entry will automatically be declared invalid.
  • To enter the Contest without making a purchase, the participant must write a handwritten and original text of fifty (50) words explaining why they would like to participate in the draw and have a chance to win the Prize, and send the text by email to the following address: ________________ or by mail to the attention of ______________ at the following address: ________________________. 

  

PRIZE

One Québon snow tube will be drawn from all the entry forms (the “Prize”). The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or substituted, in whole or in part.

 

DRAW

The draw will take place at the Organizer’s offices, located at 4600 Armand-Frappier, Longueuil (Quebec) J3Z 1G5, on February 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible Entry Forms.

Odds of winning

The odds of being selected as the potential winner depend on the total number of eligible Entry Forms received during the Contest Period.

  

AWARDING OF THE PRIZES 

To be declared a winner, any selected Participant must:

  • The potential winner will be contacted by email, at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor, within ten (10) days following the draw. Any selected participant who cannot be reached despite appropriate and reasonable efforts by the Sponsor during this period will be disqualified, and a new draw will be conducted to award the prize. If a selected participant is contacted by email, they must respond in accordance with the instructions provided therein, if applicable. Any prize notification email that results in a delivery failure will lead to the disqualification of the participant and the selection of a new participant.
  • Have provided all the required personal information in the Entry Form.
  • Have duly completed, dated, and signed the release form that will be sent by the Sponsor prior to the awarding of the prize.
  • Upon request and in a timely manner, provide a valid photo identification.
  • Claim the prize within a maximum of thirty (30) days following the end of the Contest, by 11:59 p.m., from the Sponsor.

If the selected participant fails to meet any of the conditions outlined in these Rules or refuses to accept the prize, they will be disqualified. In such a case, the Contest Sponsor may, at its discretion, cancel the prize or conduct a new draw among the remaining eligible entries until a participant is selected and declared a winner. If no participant is declared a winner within sixty (60) days following the original draw, the Contest will be canceled, and no prize will be awarded. The Sponsors shall not be held responsible if a potential winner does not receive notification or if the Sponsors do not receive a response from a potential winner.

Refusal to Accept a Prize. A selected participant’s refusal to accept a prize under the terms of these Rules releases the Contest Sponsor from any obligation related to that prize toward that person.

Prize Awarding. No prize will be awarded unless the winner has been confirmed. No prize is transferable. It must be accepted as awarded without cash or other substitution, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or part of a prize) with one of the same nature and equivalent value or, at its sole discretion, the monetary value of the prize (or part of the prize) as stated in these Rules.

Prize Claim Costs. All costs or expenses incurred by winners in connection with claiming or using a prize are the responsibility of the winners.

Limited Prizes. In all cases, the Contest Sponsor shall not be required to award more prizes or award a prize other than in accordance with these Rules.

Release. Before receiving their prize, the winner must sign a release confirming: (i) that they are eligible for the Contest and have complied with the Contest Rules; (ii) that they accept the prize as awarded; (iii) that they release each of the Sponsors from any liability for losses, damages, injuries, costs, or expenses arising from participation in the Contest or any related activity, or from acceptance and use of the Prize.

Limitation of Liability. The Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, misdirected, or improperly completed entry forms, notices, responses, or releases. The Sponsors are not responsible for incorrect information, whether caused by equipment or programs associated with or used in the Contest, or by technical or human error occurring in the administration of the Contest. The participant assumes responsibility for any damages caused or alleged in connection with participation in the Contest or as a result of accepting, possessing, or using the Prize or failing to receive the Prize. The Sponsors assume no responsibility if the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including reasons beyond the Sponsors’ control.

Conduct. By participating in the Contest, the participant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules. The participant also agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who violates the Contest Rules or tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest.

Personal Information. The participant grants the Sponsors:
(a) the right to use their personal information for the administration of the Contest; (b) the right to use their name, photograph, likeness, voice, prize information, or biographical notes for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Personal information will not be disclosed to any third party except as provided in the Contest Rules.

Intellectual Property. All intellectual property elements, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations, belong to the Sponsors or their affiliated companies. All rights reserved. It is strictly prohibited to copy or use any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the prior written consent of the Sponsors.

Right to Cancel, Suspend, or Modify. The Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time without notice and without providing any reason.

Applicable Laws. These Rules constitute the Contest Regulations and are available at the Retailer’s courtesy counter. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules may be amended without notice to comply with applicable laws or the policies of any entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsors.

Minors. Where the selected participant has not reached the age of majority in their province of residence, the parent or legal guardian of the selected participant must provide written consent for the participant to be declared a winner and receive the prize.


BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, INDIVIDUALS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY HAVE READ THESE RULES AND AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THEM.
